Yes, please. We strongly encourage it. Your attendance is recommended, although not required. Walking through the home with your inspector in real time is one of the best ways to understand the property you are buying. Ask questions, take notes, and don't hold back.
Plan on two to three hours for a full inspection. Exact duration depends on a lot of factors, such as the age and condition of the home. Slab homes dont tke as long as homes with a basement or crawl space.
Our base fee starts at around $350, but may be more or less depending on all the property details. Additional services include termite inspection ($75) and radon testing ($150). Bundle Termite and Radon together with a full inspection and and receive a -$50 discount. Prices are subject to change. Call or schedule online for a current quote.
Payment is due at the time of the inspection. For your convenience, you may pay online in advance, or bring cash or check with you to the inspection.
Your inspection report is emailed as a PDF within approximately 24 hours after the inspection. Radon test results, and Well water test results are lab services, are usually available within 2 to 3 business days after the inspection.
Absolutely. New homes are not exempt from defects. Having an independent inspector walk through before you close, or before your builder's warranty expires, is one of the smartest things a new construction homeowner can do.
