Gibbs Property Inspections has been serving homebuyers, sellers, and investors across the Indianapolis metro and Hamilton County since 2005. You may know us from our previous name, Gibbs Surette Inspect. We rebranded as GPI in 2023, but the commitment behind the work hasn't changed.
The majority of our business comes from referrals from previous clients, and real estate agent recommendations. We think that says more than anything else we could put on this page.
Bryan Gibbs, Owner & Licensed Home Inspector
Bryan is a Noblesville resident and has called Central Indiana home since 1998, when he returned to his home state after an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy.
His military background in Naval Aviation, specifically working with H-3 and H-60 helicopters in anti-submarine warfare and search and rescue squadrons, put safety and attention to detail at the center of his daily life. Those values didn't stay in the Navy. They came with him.
After the military, Bryan spent several years in commercial and industrial fire and security systems, working his way from install technician to Project Manager and Systems Design Engineer. That work put him inside large-scale commercial construction projects, coordinating across trades and learning how buildings go together from the inside out.
In 2001, Bryan bought his first home, a 1946 fixer-upper, and got hooked. A few rental properties later, he decided to make it a career. He used his G.I. Bill to complete his pre-licensing coursework, passed the state exam in the fall of 2005, and was inspecting full time by early 2006.
Twenty-plus years and thousands of inspections later, he's still at it, still local, and still the one doing your inspection.
